In 2019, Tjimur Dance Theatre and the Indian dance company Kaishiki Nrityabhasha worked together in an experimental co- production for the “TJIMUR Arts Festival”. The performances were highly praised. In 2020, the theme of the event will be “Her Breath”. We have invited 6 female artists from Philippines, Australia, the US, India, and Taiwan to join us in the event. They will present their observations regarding contemporary feminism and art creation with female subjectivity. During the Arts Festival, these female artists will create more experimental works as artists-in-residence.
